About Us

Human Positive Behaviour Support (Human PBS) is a growing, practitioner-led NDIS provider supporting children and adults across Sunbury, the Macedon Ranges, Melton and surrounding communities.

Our work is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, person-centred, strengths-based and evidence-informed. We support people with a range of disabilities and support needs, including autism, intellectual disability, psychosocial disability, trauma histories, emotional regulation difficulties, behaviours of concern and complex support needs.

We focus on practical support that improves quality of life, strengthens capability, protects participant rights and reduces reliance on restrictive practices.

About the Role You will manage an allocated caseload, working primarily from home and in the community. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Delivering Specialist Behaviour Support services aligned with participant goals, NDIS requirements and professional standards.
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.
- Creating practical,



trauma-informed and neuro-affirming strategies that support communication, emotional regulation, skill development and quality of life.
- Supporting participants, families, carers, schools and providers to implement behaviour support strategies and reduce behaviours of concern and restrictive practices.
- Reviewing data and feedback, updating plans, and identifying and escalating clinical or safeguarding risks.
- Preparing clinical reports and maintaining accurate case notes, records and billing entries in Splose and other Human PBS systems.

About You

You will have

- At least two years’ experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner delivering Positive Behaviour Support to NDIS participants.
- Current NDIS Commission suitability to work as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology, education, disability, behaviour analysis or a related discipline.
- Experience conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.
- Strong knowledge of function-based intervention, trauma-informed and neuro-affirming practice, safeguarding and restrictive practice reduction.
- Strong written communication, clinical reasoning and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to independently manage a caseload while seeking clinical support when appropriate.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
- A current driver licence, reliable registered and insured vehicle, and Australian working rights.
