Your new role
This is an prospect for a commercially minded and people-focused professional who thrives on collaboration, enjoys engaging with diverse stakeholders, and can bring together technical information, strategy, and compelling storytelling to deliver winning submissions.
Working closely with senior leaders, subject matter experts, and operational teams, you'll drive pursuit activities from early-stage opportunity assessment through to submission and presentation phases.
- Lead end-to-end bid and proposal management activities across complex opportunities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop compliant, compelling, and competitive submissions.
- Facilitate bid strategy sessions, win-theme development, and review processes.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Manage tender schedules, governance requirements, and submission deadlines.
- Support capture planning, pipeline reviews, and opportunity qualification processes.
- Oversee proposal content development, editing, and quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of bid frameworks, processes, and tools.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience supporting bids, tenders, or pursuits within the national security, defence,
or complex government capability sector is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of large-scale project delivery, professional services, consulting, engineering, technology, or capability-driven sectors.
- Experience navigating structured procurement frameworks and commercial tender processes.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- A confident communicator who enjoys facilitating workshops, engaging senior leaders, and influencing outcomes.
- Solid writing, editing, and document management capability with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to translate technical information into clear, persuasive, and client-focused proposals.
- Experience supporting opportunities involving complex governance, compliance, or security-related requirements will be highly regarded.
