$40 – $55 per hour + overtime | Cheltenham | Day shift, afternoon considered A long-established Australian plastics manufacturer in Cheltenham is looking for a blow moulding die setter. There is a second position for the right person.

The money, plainly. $40 to $55 an hour base, depending on what you bring, with overtime paid on top. Saturday work is there most weeks if you want it and it is not compulsory. 38 hours, no RDO.

The work

- Mould and die changes on stretch blow and extrusion blow machines
- Set-ups and start-ups — getting the process right and handing over a job that is running
- Troubleshooting wall section, base, weight, dimensions and cycle, and finding what is actually causing them
- Material and colour changes
- First-off and in-process quality checks
- Planning your changeovers with production the day before

What you will have done

Set dies on blow moulding machines and run them. If you have worked single-stage injection stretch blow, and particularly Aoki or ASB, that is exactly what they are after.

If your background is extrusion blow rather than stretch, apply anyway. A valuable setter moves between the two,



and this business takes that view — they would rather have the right person and give them the run-in.
