Job: BMW Diagnostic L2 Technician (Light Vehicle)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced BMW Level 2 Diagnostic Technician (Light Vehicle) to join our service team in Cairns. This permanent role involves advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of BMW light vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Level 2 diagnostics on BMW light vehicles using ISTA systems and approved tools.
- Identify and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs to BMW specifications.
- Document diagnostic findings and repair work accurately.
- Work closely with service advisors and workshop staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and BMW service standards.

Requirements

- Must hold BMW Level 2 Diagnostic Certification (Light Vehicle) .




- Minimum 10 years of work experience in BMW or premium automotive diagnostics.
- Strong knowledge of BMW ISTA/D and ISTA/P systems.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
