JDN MONOCRANE is a turn key solutions provider that designs, manufactures, installs and services the full range of standard and specialised, customer specific lifting solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to start immediately.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Fabrication and welding of Overhead Gantry Crane box girders.

Fabrication and welding of structural steel - columns and beams.

Fabrication and welding of complex frames and associated lifting equipment.

Key Attributes:

- You will be highly motivated and have pride in your work
- Qualified Boilermaker or equivalent (Cert 3 MechEng)
- Have superior MIG (GMAW) and general welding skills - you will be required to demonstrate your ability as part of the interview process
- Competent with Fillet and Butt welding of plates from 5mm to 45mm
- Be able to read 2D drawings
- Experience with and knowledge of formal QA process and procedure,



including identification of defective or outside of tolerance mechanical components
- Must be available for day shift
- Must have full time availability

- Are reliable
- Pay attention to detail, and
- Can work with minimal supervision, as well as
- Be flexible with regard to overtime, available between 0615 and 1745

While not essential to the role, preferred candidates will hold the following:

- Forklift License
- EWP/Scissor Lift
- Rigging and Dogging
- Working at heights
