Branch Manager – Bendigo

Full-Time | Bendigo, Victoria | Commission Only An established Australian-owned company is seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to take responsibility for the sales growth and day-to-day operation of an established Bendigo branch.

This is a hands-on sales position suited to someone who is confident dealing with customers, developing new business and building strong relationships within the local market.

About the Role

This position will be offered to a well-presented individual who is capable of taking responsibility for an individual site, including the office and displays, and can confidently self-manage all duties and responsibilities.

As Branch Manager, you will manage the complete sales process while taking an active role in developing current business opportunities across Bendigo and the surrounding region.

Your responsibilities will include

· Managing face-to-face, telephone and online customer enquiries

· Preparing and following up quotations

· Managing sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to sale

· Generating new leads and actively developing business

· Building relationships with builders, tradespeople, developers and local businesses

· Developing referral and repeat-business opportunities

· Maintaining and progressing an active sales pipeline

· Coordinating relevant orders, production, delivery and after sales requirements

· Maintaining professional branch presentation and administration

· Providing a high level of customer service

· Monitoring local market and competitor activity

· Working closely with Head Office and management





This role requires someone who is proactive and comfortable creating their own sales opportunities. When customer enquiries are quiet, you will be expected to use your time productively through follow-up, local relationship and business development.

About You

We are looking for a proven salesperson who is motivated by results and enjoys building relationships and generating new business.

You will ideally have

· A proven sales track record

· Solid customer service and relationship-building skills

· Confidence in seeking and developing new business

· Strong negotiation and sales-closing ability

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong self-management and organisational skills

· A professional approach and presentation

· Good commercial awareness and attention to detail

· The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

· A positive, proactive and practical attitude

· Intermediate computer skills

Experience in building, construction, garages, sheds, rural, trade, manufacturing or a related industry will be highly regarded.

Remuneration

This is a contractor position requiring the successful applicant to hold an ABN and enter into a contractor agreement. The Branch Manager will be remunerated on a commission-only basis, with commission calculated as a percentage of qualifying sales.

Details regarding the applicable commission percentage, qualifying sales, calculation methodology and payment arrangements will be provided to shortlisted candidates as part of the recruitment and appointment process.

Training

Training will be provided across products, systems and sales processes.

Initial training may include approximately one week at Head Office in Sunshine West, with an alternative arrangement in Bendigo potentially available.
