Role Description The Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch. This role manages staff, coordinates workloads, and ensures excellent customer service for trade and commercial clients.

The Branch

Manager oversees sales activities, monitors inventory levels, and works with suppliers to maintain appropriate stock, pricing, and product availability. They review branch performance, prepare reports, and implement strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction targets.



The role also includes coaching and developing team members, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards, and representing CNW in the local business community.

Qualifications

- Experience in branch, store, or operations management within electrical wholesale, trade supply, or a related industry.
- Strong leadership abilities, including staff supervision, performance management, and team development.
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client and supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of electrical products or willingness to rapidly learn technical product information.
- Proficiency in inventory control, ordering, and stock management systems.
- Competence with sales processes, basic financial reporting, and working to budgets and KPIs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with sound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work in office, manage competing priorities, and maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role; trade or business-related qualifications are advantageous.
