About the role

We are seeking an experienced Branch/Manufacturing Manager to manage our Client's Wetherill Park, Light Metal Building Products operations.

As Branch/Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily sales, manufacturing & logistics operations, by managing teams, and driving business performance in line with company objectives.

This is a key role in the delivering successful customer outcomes across NSW, requiring strong leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset to manage sales and operational and logistics complexities.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee and manage all daily branch sales and operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies and regulations
- Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring appropriate training and professional development
- Monitor and optimise operational processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery
- Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and effective use of company resources
- Maintain and enhance quality control standards across all operational activities
- Regularly report on branch performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
- Coordinate logistics, inventory management, and supply chain activities to meet business demands
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and foster a safe working environment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Investigate and resolve sales and operational issues promptly and effectively

What we're looking for





- Proven experience in manufacturing or branch management within Building Products or light metal manufacturing market sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff at all levels
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements in the logistics or manufacturing industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyse performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Any relevant certifications in operations management or industry-specific qualifications.
