Pacific Hotel Cairns | Bushfire Flame Grill

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Breakfast Supervisor to join the team at Bushfire Flame Grill, located within Pacific Hotel Cairns.

This is a part-time position working morning shifts, supervising our busy buffet breakfast service.

About the Role

As Breakfast Supervisor, you will be responsible for helping ensure breakfast service runs smoothly each morning while providing a welcoming and qualified experience for our hotel guests.

Your responsibilities will include

- Supervising the daily buffet breakfast service
- Leading and supporting the breakfast team
- Preparing the restaurant for opening each morning
- Ensuring the buffet is well presented, clean and replenished throughout service
- Welcoming guests and assisting with enquiries
- Coordinating with the kitchen team throughout breakfast service
- Monitoring service standards and guest satisfaction
- Allocating duties and ensuring the team is organised for service
- Maintaining restaurant cleanliness and presentation
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures are followed
- Assisting with stock control and breakfast supplies
- Completing end-of-breakfast duties and preparing the restaurant for the next service

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous restaurant,



hotel or breakfast service experience
- Has previous supervisory or team leader experience
- Is confident leading a small team
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Is organised and able to manage a busy buffet service
- Has strong attention to detail and presentation
- Can work calmly and professionally during busy periods
- Is reliable and enjoys working early mornings
- Works well with both Front Office and Kitchen teams

Previous experience working in a hotel buffet breakfast environment would be highly regarded.

Hours

- Part-time position
- Up to Five morning shifts per week
- Early morning starts
- Weekend and public holiday availability will be required

Pay: $29.45 – $46.95 per hour
