We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Building Operations & Facilities Manager to oversee a premium residential community. This is an opportunity for someone with a facilities, maintenance, operations, asset management or building services background who enjoys being on-site, building relationships, driving improvements and taking genuine ownership of a property.

About the Role
As the Building Operations & Facilities Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance and presentation of a premium residential building. You'll work closely with residents, contractors and stakeholders, ensuring the building runs smoothly while identifying opportunities to improve performance, resident experience and asset outcomes.
- Managing building operations, facilities and maintenance activities
- Driving preventative maintenance programs and long-term asset performance
- Conducting regular inspections of building assets, services and infrastructure
- Coordinating contractors and monitoring service delivery standards
- Supporting capital works, building improvement projects and sustainability initiatives
- Maintaining asset registers and contributing to lifecycle replacement planning
- Monitoring security systems,
access control and CCTV operations
- Ensuring compliance with building, safety and essential services requirements
- Building strong relationships with residents and resolving issues professionally and efficiently
- Preparing reports and providing recommendations to the Owners Corporation
- Identifying opportunities to improve building performance, resident experience and operational efficiencies
- Supporting and supervising on-site concierge and service teams
About you:
- Experience managing facilities, assets, buildings or operational environments
- Strong understanding of building services, maintenance and contractor management
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement improvements
- Excellent stakeholder and customer service skills
- Confidence managing multiple priorities and solving problems independently
- Experience leading teams, contractors or service providers
- Solid communication and reporting skills
- Good technology and systems capability
- A genuine passion for creating exceptional customer experiences
- Formal qualifications in Facilities Management, Asset Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded, but are not essential.
