Role Description This is a part-time Business Developer role based in Melbourne, VIC, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home.

The Business

Developer will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and support lead generation activities across target industries. This role includes building and maintaining relationships with prospects, coordinating discovery calls or demos, and providing responsive customer communication throughout the sales cycle.

Developer will collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with Salesforce-based solutions, prepare proposals and presentations, and maintain accurate records in CRM tools. The position also involves monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to recommend improvements to go-to-market strategies.

- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret market, customer, and sales data to inform decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills,



including clear written and verbal communication and professional presentation abilities.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills, with experience in prospecting, outreach, and nurturing potential clients.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills, including gathering insights on industries, competitors, and customer segments.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and client satisfaction.
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, or consulting (preferably in technology or CRM solutions) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms, and comfort working with digital tools and remote collaboration systems, is advantageous.
- A relevant qualification in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage part-time hybrid work, including coordination across onsite and remote activities.
