About Fire Master

Fire Master is a commercial fire services subcontractor. We work on jobs from $50K to $1M.

We install and certify wet fire systems (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels) and dry fire systems (detection and alarm). Our work covers office fitouts, government and defence projects, shopping centres, hospitality and retail, and industrial sites.

The role

Your job is to get Fire Master in front of the right builders and increase our lead pipeline of work.

Our estimator handles the takeoffs and rates, so you're free to focus on finding the work, checking it suits us, keeping it moving and closing it.

Day to day you'll:

- Build relationships with commercial builders, project managers and contract administrators around Melbourne
- Check that incoming tenders suit us, and give our estimator what they need to quote on time
- Follow up quotes until we win or lose them,



and work with our team to confirm the final scope for the delivery team
- Go to site walkthroughs, pre-tender meetings and industry events
- Keep the pipeline up to date and report on it each week

What we're looking for

- Sales experience in commercial construction — fire, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or another building services trade
- Builders and project managers you already know in Melbourne
- You can read drawings well enough to understand the scope. You don't need to price it, just know what we're being asked for
- Happy to work with long sales cycles and plenty of follow-up
- Full Victorian driver's licence
- White Card (Construction Induction Card), or willing to get one
- Able to pass a police check and obtain a baseline security clearance for defence sites
