Business Support Officer
Pay Rate: $45-$52 per hour + superannuation
Contract: 3 months
Start Date: ASAP
Working Arrangement: Full-time, five days per week
Hybrid: Three days per week in the office
About the Role
We are seeking an organised and capable Business Support Officer for an initial three-month contract. This position will provide high-quality administrative and operational support, helping the broader team manage its day-to-day activities efficiently.
The successful candidate will be confident using corporate systems, managing records and documentation, and coordinating competing priorities within a busy professional workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and business support to the team.
- Create, maintain and manage records using TRIM.
- Process and maintain financial, purchasing or administrative information using TechnologyOne (TechOne).
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, presentations and other business documents.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments and team activities as required.
- Manage shared inboxes, enquiries and general correspondence.
- Maintain accurate electronic records, registers and filing systems.
- Assist with purchase orders, invoices,
expenses and other transactional activities where required.
- Monitor outstanding actions and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
- Respond professionally to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the team with general administration and other business activities as required.
About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience ina business support, administration or coordination position.
- Practical experience using TechnologyOne (TechOne).
- Experience working with TRIM or a similar electronic document and records management system.
- Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
- A professional, responsive and service-focused approach.
