BYD CBD is Harmony Auto’s first BYD showroom in Melbourne, strategically located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. As a dedicated city-centre showroom, BYD CBD offers customers a convenient and premium environment to explore the latest BYD vehicles, experience advanced EV technology, arrange test drives, and receive professional support throughout their vehicle purchasing journey.

Part of Harmony Auto, an international automotive retail group specialising in premium and new energy vehicles, we are continuing to expand our dealership network across Australia.

We are now building the foundation sales team for this landmark CBD showroom and are seeking high-performing Sales Consultants who are ready to grow with a leading global EV brand.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Sales Consultant, you will represent BYD at our brand-new CBD showroom, helping customers discover BYD’s electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle range and guiding them through a seamless, professional purchasing experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist customers visiting our Melbourne CBD showroom
- Deliver engaging vehicle presentations, EV technology explanations and live demonstrations
- Understand each customer’s needs and recommend suitable models, configurations and solutions
- Arrange and conduct test drives
- Manage the complete sales journey, including enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, CRM updates and contract finalisation
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through proactive and skilled communication
- Work closely with Sales Administration, Finance and Vehicle Delivery teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Achieve individual and showroom sales targets and KPIs
- Support showroom events, vehicle launches, test-drive activities and promotional campaigns
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BYD models, features, technology and industry developments

What We’re Looking For

Required





- At least two years of sales experience, preferably within automotive, retail, technology, real estate or another customer-focused environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- A high level of customer service and professionalism
- A goal-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Ability to manage multiple customer enquiries and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence in learning new vehicle products, EV technology and CRM systems
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Valid working rights in Australia

Highly Regarded

- Previous automotive dealership or vehicle sales experience
- Experience in premium retail or high-value consumer sales
- A genuine interest in electric vehicles and emerging automotive technology
- Additional language skills, including Mandarin, to support our diverse customer base

What We Offer

- Base salary of $60,000 plus superannuation
- Uncapped commission with realistic OTE of $90,000–$120,000+
