Cabinet Making Apprentice

Project 717 | Full time Apprenticeship | Toowoomba Project 717 is looking for a motivated Cabinet Making Apprentice to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a genuine career in cabinet making and joinery while learning from experienced tradespeople in a busy, modern manufacturing environment.

We work across a range of residential and commercial projects, manufacturing and installing kitchens, cabinetry and custom joinery.

About the Role

As a Cabinet Making Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training across all aspects of the trade, including:

- Cabinet and joinery manufacturing
- Reading plans, drawings and specifications
- Cutting, assembling and finishing cabinetry
- Learning to operate modern machinery and CNC equipment
- Hardware and component installation
- Kitchen and joinery installation
- Working with a range of board products and materials
- Quality control and attention to detail
- Safe use of tools, machinery and equipment
- Factory and on-site work

About You

We are looking for someone who:
- Is genuinely interested in becoming a qualified Cabinet Maker
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to work
- Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn
- Takes pride in their workmanship
- Can follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment




- Has good attention to detail
- Understands the importance of workplace safety
- Is willing to learn both factory manufacturing and on-site installation

Previous experience is not essential. We are more interested in finding the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. School leavers and applicants looking to start their first trade are encouraged to apply.
