Indigeco is recruiting a Change and Communications Manager for our NSW Government client within a technology and operations environment. This is a 12 month contract with potential to extend, supporting the successful delivery and adoption of technology, data and workforce operations initiatives.

The role will be split across a data uplift program and a ways of working implementation within the technology function. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can develop practical change plans, create clear communications, engage stakeholders and help bring people through organisational and technology change.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

You will be working within a complex, people-focused environment where clear communication, stakeholder engagement and thoughtful change management are essential to supporting employees through transformation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement integrated change management and communication strategies for technology, data and workforce operations initiatives
- Lead stakeholder assessment, engagement and communication planning to ensure impacted audiences are informed, prepared and supported
- Design and deliver end-to-end communication plans, including leadership communications, presentations, newsletters, intranet content, FAQs, video scripts and change collateral
- Develop practical change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, readiness assessments, training needs and resistance management strategies
- Partner with senior leaders, project teams and business stakeholders to identify change impacts and develop interventions that support adoption
- Support organisational change, operating model uplift and agile ways of working within a technology environment




- Monitor and report on communication effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, sentiment and change adoption metrics

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years’ experience managing change within complex organisational, technology or transformation environments
- Change management certification and strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Strong experience developing change plans, impact assessments, stakeholder plans, readiness activities and communication materials
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence and partner with senior leaders and teams
- Excellent written communication, presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to guide leaders on the right language and messaging for sensitive change
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Experience with organisational change, agile ways of working, operating model uplift, technology change, data uplift or government environments will be highly regarded
