The Role

We’re on the lookout for experienced and passionate Chefs living in or near Mackay to join our regional Queensland teams. These Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) roles offer the chance to work locally while delivering high-volume, nutritious meals for mining village residents. - Prepare and deliver meals across breakfast, crib, and dinner services
- Maintain food safety standards and HACCP compliance

- Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery
- Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens
- FIFO or remote site experience desirable, but not essential
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions
- Versatile, can work in a team and autonomously with strong communication skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing)
- You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 months
- Australian Citizenship, Full Australian working rights.

Working on-site means 11-hour days on a 2:1 roster (two weeks on, one week off).
