- Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room employees.
- Buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast, Crib, Lunch, and / or Dinner and Desserts.
- Ensure OH&S; compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures.
- Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards.
- Enhance workplace culture - display high levels of customer service, contribute ideas & be flexible to meet the needs of the business.

We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.
About The Candidate
- Trade Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery - Minimum
- Experience within bulk catering environments/commercial kitchens
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
- Excellent food safety knowledge
- Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines
Work Environment We are currently seeking an experienced Chef to work at our McArthur River Mine Site in the Northern Territory. This role reports directly to the Head Chef and Site Management.
- Work a 14 days on, 7 days off roster
