About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dedicated culinary team. You will play a key role in upholding our high standards in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management, while bringing fresh and creative ideas to enhance our dynamic menu.

Key responsibilities

- Design and update menus using seasonal and fresh ingredients
- Prepare dishes that meet quality and presentation standards
- Ensure smooth daily kitchen operations
- Manage food costs and minimise waste while maintaining quality
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff
- Schedule staff shifts and ensure coverage during busy times
- Taste-test dishes to ensure consistency and excellence
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely procurement of ingredients
- Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative ideas to enhance the menu and dining experience

About you

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a chef
- Certificate IV in Commercial cookery or a related field is preferred




- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is highly desirable
