Spotted Frog Kindergarten is a small, family-run early childhood service located in Lake Haven, caring for up to 50 children each day aged 2–6 years.
We are looking for a happy, reliable and experienced Centre Cook who has a passion for preparing nutritious meals and enjoys working in an environment with young children.
The role includes:
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for up to 50 children
- Catering for children with allergies and individual dietary requirements
- Menu planning and online ordering
- Shopping and maintaining kitchen supplies
- Managing the daily operation of the kitchen
- Maintaining a clean, secure and organised kitchen
- Working collaboratively with our educators and management team
Applicants must have:
- Previous experience working as a cook in an early childhood service
- Experience preparing meals for children aged 2–6 years
- Knowledge of allergies, dietary requirements and safe food preparation
- A current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Food Handling/Food Safety and Hygiene certification, or willingness to complete it
- A friendly nature, strong organisational skills and a reliable work ethic
