Pay Rate: $27.08/hr + Super

Available Shifts:

- Monday to Friday: 7:00 am -2:30 pm
- Monday to Sunday: 4:00 pm -8:00 pm

Cater Care is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our kitchen team. In this hands-on role, you'll prepare fresh meals and cold larder items, assist with meal service, and help maintain high food safety and hygiene standards in a busy, supportive kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with daily food preparation and meal service, including salads and sandwiches
- Support catering requirements for functions, meetings, and special events
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas,



including dishwashing and general kitchen support
- Follow food safety, allergen management, and hygiene procedures at all times

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

- Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen assistance, or customer service (experience in high-volume catering or commercial kitchens is highly regarded)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- High standards of personal presentation and hygiene
- Reliable, organised, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic
