About the role

This is a permanent full time position. We're seeking an energetic, professional cleaner with an eye for detail to join our friendly team at Eleebana Shores. This role is essential to ensuring the village's community centre and communal areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

This role may involve occasional residential cleaning, general maintenance and exterior cleaning. You'll play a key role in maintaining our high standards, ensuring residents enjoy a safe, functional and well-presented community.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of the village's community centre and other communal areas to a high standard.
- Clean exterior fixtures, structures and surfaces as required.
- Deliver positive customer experience for the village's residents.
- Manage time efficiently.

About you

- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial cleaning.
- Strong understanding of cleaning products, equipment and chemicals, particularly those suitable in a retirement village environment.
- Strong understanding of hygiene practices and standards.
- A solid work ethic with a commitment to delivering excellent results.
- Attention to detail in all cleaning tasks.
- Effective time management skills.
- Capable of clear and professional communication.
- Capacity to work well and cooperatively in a small team.
- Basic digital literacy,



including the ability to use a mobile app to receive and complete work orders.
- The ability to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, including manual handling and outdoor work activities.
- A current C-Class Driver's Licence.
- Australian citizenship or unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Willing to obtain: Current Police Check, First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check.
