Grace & Gather is looking for warm, reliable and detail-oriented Home Assistants to join our growing Brisbane team.

We're currently particularly looking for people in and around:

Cannon Hill

Indooroopilly

Chermside

Hours that work around you

We know everyone's availability looks different.

You might be

- A parent wanting work between school drop-off and pick-up
- A student looking for work around your timetable
- Looking for 2–3 consistent days per week
- Available 4–5 days per week and wanting your hours to grow

We're open to all of the above. You can be available anywhere from 2 to 5 weekdays per week, and we'll work with you to establish the days, areas and hours that suit.

No weekends. No late nights.

So... what exactly is a Home Assistant?

We're more than a cleaning company. Sometimes our clients need their bathrooms cleaned and floors vacuumed.

Other weeks, they need someone to tackle the mountain of laundry, change the beds, prep dinner, organise the pantry or finally take that bag of clothes to the donation centre that's been sitting there for months.

That's where you come in.

Your day might include: Cleaning — kitchens, bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping and general cleaning

Laundry — washing, folding, putting away and ironing

️ Linen — changing beds and freshening bedrooms

Meal Prep — preparing simple family meals and snacks

✨ Home Resets — tidying and getting the home back in order

️ Organisation — fridges, pantries, wardrobes and household spaces

Errands — occasional groceries, returns or donations

Every household is different, which is part of what makes this role interesting.

This isn't a rushed, high-volume cleaning role.

Our clients book dedicated blocks of time so you can provide thoughtful,



high-quality household support and genuinely make their week a little easier.

Who are we looking for?

You don't necessarily need years of professional cleaning experience. We're much more interested in finding people who are:

- Reliable and punctual
- Warm, friendly and professional
- Naturally clean, organised and detail-focused
- The type of person who notices what needs doing without always needing to be asked
- Comfortable working independently and managing their time
- Happy to clean and help with other household tasks
- Comfortable preparing simple family meals
- Respectful of clients, their homes and their privacy
- Someone who takes genuine pride in their work
- Looking for consistent, ongoing work

Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, support work, hospitality, disability/support services or household management is highly regarded.

We're looking for someone who wants to stay

Consistency is really important to us — both for our team and for our clients. Our goal is to match our Home Assistants with regular clients they can get to know and build trust with over time, rather than sending you to completely different homes every week.

Because of this, we're ideally looking for people who can see themselves staying with Grace & Gather for at least 6 months — and hopefully much longer as we continue to grow.

We want this to be a role that works around your life while still giving you the opportunity to build relationships with familiar clients and enjoy regular work.

What you'll need

- A reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
- Ability to travel to clients within an agreed service area
- A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Australian working rights
- A reliable phone
- Availability for at least 2 weekdays per week
- Ideally able to commit to the role for at least 6 months
- A positive attitude and genuine desire to help people

A Blue Card and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check is highly regarded but isn't essential for every position.
