We are seeking a motivated and reliable Bricklayer to join our growing construction team. The successful applicant will work on a variety of residential, commercial, and renovation projects, delivering high-quality brick and block masonry work while maintaining excellent safety standards.

About the Role

n

As a Qualified Bricklayer, you will be responsible for completing brick and block work to a high standard while working efficiently and safely as part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone and other masonry materials according to plans and specifications.
n
- Read and interpret construction drawings and building plans.
n
- Measure and mark reference lines for masonry work.
n
- Prepare mortar mixes and apply them correctly.
n
- Construct walls, partitions, retaining walls, fireplaces, arches and other masonry structures.
n
- Repair and restore existing brickwork and masonry.
n




- Check vertical and horizontal alignment using levels and measuring tools.
n
- Cut, shape and trim bricks or blocks to required sizes.
n
- Install damp-proof courses and insulation materials where required.
n
- Maintain a clean and secure worksite while complying with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
n
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, tradespeople and apprentices to meet project deadlines.

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Qualified Bricklayer (Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying or equivalent experience).
n
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial bricklaying of at least 1-2 years.
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
n
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
n
- Ability to work well within a team.
n
- Construction White Card.
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
