We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of People Services to provide operational leadership during a period of transition. Reporting to the CEO, this role involves leading the day-to-day delivery of the People function, ensuring business continuity across various HR domains. Day-to-day Of The Role

- Lead the delivery of HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, workforce planning, payroll oversight, and people systems.
n
- Work closely with the Director of People Services to support key workforce priorities while maintaining a high-quality, compliant HR service.
n




- Ensure effective stakeholder management and maintain strong communication across all levels of the organisation.
n
- Provide strategic and operational HR guidance to senior leaders and the board.
n

Required Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- Proven senior HR leadership experience.
n
- Strong operational and strategic HR knowledge.
n
- Extensive experience in employee relations and change management.
n
- Experience advising senior leaders and boards.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
n
- CIPD Level 7 preferred (Level 5 with significant experience considered).

- Experience in healthcare, charity, or not-for-profit sectors.

- Experience managing volunteers.
n
- Familiarity with HR systems and payroll oversight.
