Green Light Australia is looking for an Openshift Engineer (NV2). Key role to provide customer guidance in enterprise application and integration development. Specialisation in Openshift Kubernetes.
This role does require an active AGSVA NV2 clearance at a minimum. Consultants that do not hold this minimum requirement will not be considered. This role will work with a federal government client and will require some interstate travel.
100% onsite in Canberra.
Key Accountabilities:
- Proven Openshift 3 experience - customer facing on architectural, technical and strategic requirements
- Robust problem solver - containers, orchestration & hybrid cloud deployment
- Ansible playbooks upgrades or other maintenance
- DHAProxy troubleshooting/tuning
- OpenShift 3 route configurations (i.e. sharding)
- Radware Load Balancing
- Docker Trusted Registry (now Mirantis)
- Splunk
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years professional experience as a RHEL Consultant - specialising in OPC (Openshift)
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration - Openshift, Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong experience working on development and deployment projects
- Key stakeholder management and working together with architects
- Consulting background ideal
- Experience defining solution architectures and design, implementation and troubleshooting enterprise level solutions
- Experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Level Linux) & CoreOS
- Understanding of Storage and NW engineering a bonus
- Understanding of automation and scripting - Ansible / Puppet / other
- Understanding of Java Frameworks / libraries - Hibernate, Node.JS, Spring / other
- Understanding of Jenkins, Bamboo or other CI tools
- Ability to learn and master employer-specific business software
