Milikapiti Sports and Social Club is seeking a Club Utility to help in our Sports Club and 9 Room Motel in the beautiful coastal community of Milikapiti on Melville Island. This is a hands on role consisting of various tasks, often split shifts including 4 evenings per week and Saturdays.
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning and servicing guest rooms and common areas
- Changing linen and towels as required
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize toilets, bathrooms, kitchen and floors
- Replenish toiletries, soaps, milk and water
- Assist with food preparation and serving customers
- Cash handling, Eftpos and SWIFTPOS transactions
- Stocking fridges
- Dishwashing and cleaning
- Assist with bar and front gate duties as needed
About you
- Friendly and helpful attitude
- Desire to want to live and work in a remote Aboriginal Community
- Previous experience or ability to quickly adapt and show initiative
- Able to work autonomously and together in a tight knit team
- Australian Citizen with full working rights
- Able to start immediately
- Manual drivers licence a plus
- RSA / Food Handling Cert and / or Security Lic bonus points
- Common sense and the ability to hit the ground running with minimal training
