Co-residency Support Role Available in Busselton

PPT role, hourly rates:

M-F: $26 p/h for entire 24 hour period (no reduced inactive rate)

Sat-Sun: $33

Pub Hol: $41

My Place is looking for one female support worker to join a small team supporting a woman in Busselton. The individual's preference is for female only due to personal care requirements.

About the role:

The scheduled supports are structured in a week on/week off schedule, to reduce the number of changes and different people coming into her home each week. We are seeking someone to fill one of the alternate weeks, with the support starting from Sunday at 5pm and going until Friday at 9am. There is an opportunity for two off-site breaks of up to one hour each for every full day of support.

There is potential to split the five consecutive days of support between two people, if two suitable applicants are found,



though the individual’s robust preference is for one individual only.

The role involves supporting a woman living in her own home with all aspects of her daily life and community access. The individual receiving support uses some mobility aids but can mobilise short distances on her own and some personal care support is required. You would be supporting to attend the gym four days per week, attending to all household tasks and appointments, and listening to A LOT of 80s music.

Requirements:

Experience supporting people with complex behavioural needs is preferred, though not needed. A sense of humour and ability to roll with the punches is a definite must!

Experience is preferred, though training will be provided. Must be able to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening and have a valid licence.
