Due to our continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects across the Hunter region, we're building out our Newcastle team and seeking a Commercial / Industrial Site Supervisor to join us with new and exciting upcoming projects based between Taree and Port Macquarie.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and lead the construction team, including subcontractors and trades
- Planning and management of project time schedules and deadlines
- Ensure WHS compliance, regulations, codes of practice and site inductions
- Quality assurance of work
- Implementing and administering effective and effective building management strategies
- Take initiative and manage the day to day operations on site
- Read, understand and interpret construction and project plans
- Address design and construction issues that arise on site
- Inspect work to ensure it meets plans and relevant building codes

Requirements

- Hold relevant qualifications,



trades qualified carpenter including WHS induction
- Previous experience in a supervisory industrial and commercial construction role
- Working knowledge of WHS procedures
- Demonstrated commitment to, and knowledge of, HSE and quality management
- Ensure that the project is delivered to the required quality specification, including quality and ITP documentation.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills required for internal and external dealings and negotiations
- Hold a current driver’s license
- Be available to work overtime
