SO4 is seeking an experienced and commercially savvy Commercial Manager to join our Perth Head Office team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing commercial, contracts, procurement and project controls functions across the business and supporting the successful delivery of our project objectives.

You'll work closely with senior leadership, contractors, suppliers and project teams to drive value, manage risk, optimise costs and ensure commercial decisions support business performance and growth.

The Role:

- Leading the Commercial, Contracts and Procurement functions across the business
- Developing and implementing commercial strategies that improve cost control, contractor performance and project outcomes
- Managing contract and tendering activities, including negotiations, variations and dispute resolution
- Overseeing procurement processes to ensure materials and services are sourced efficiently and cost effectively
- Providing commercial insights, analysis and recommendations to support decision-making
- Monitoring budgets, forecasts and financial performance
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors and suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with contractual,



legislative and corporate obligations
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across commercial and procurement activities
- Championing a strong safety culture and leading by example

What We're Looking For

- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Commerce or a related discipline
- 10+ years' experience in commercial, contracts, procurement or operational leadership roles
- Demonstrated success managing large-value contracts, commercial negotiations and supplier relationships
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement practices and commercial risk management
- Experience overseeing OPEX and CAPEX projects
- Excellent analytical, financial and reporting skills
- Proven ability to influence, negotiate and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
- Experience with procurement and ERP systems, ideally Pronto
