About the role

Redcliffe Leagues Club (Dolphins) is seeking a Commis Chef to join the team. With a range of food outlets, including Koopa Cafe, On The Green, Bistro forty20, 8 function rooms, Dolphins NRL catering and a 10,000-seat KAYO Stadium, supported by over 50,000 Dolphin members, this is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and thriving environment.

Key responsibilities

- Contribute to the kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation and occasional menu input
- Assist the Executive Chef, Head Chef and Chef de Partie with all culinary requirements, while fostering a positive and cooperative work environment
- Maintain consistent food standards and cleaning/hygiene routines
- Mise en place, cooking and plating for catering functions
- Assist the wider catering team in maintaining catering techniques and procedures, food safety regulations and workplace health and safety

About you

- Proven experience in the operation of a skilled kitchen operation in a Club environment




- Certificate IV in commercial cookery
- Proven experience as a qualified Cook or Chef
- Extensive knowledge of general and specialised food preparation techniques and procedures
- Sound knowledge of the latest cooking trends and techniques
- Sound knowledge of stock management procedures
- Driven and passionate culinary professional
