About the Host Employer
SACA is the governing body for cricket in South Australia, responsible for growing and developing the game from grassroots participation through to elite competition. Through community programs, events and development pathways, SACA is committed to connecting communities, promoting participation and creating positive experiences through cricket.
The Role on Offer
Working alongside SACA's Women & Girls and Community Engagement teams, you will support the delivery of cricket participation programs, community events, and engagement activities across South Australia. The role offers hands-on experience in event coordination, administration, stakeholder engagement, communications, and community sport development. It's a great opportunity for someone passionate about sport, community participation, and making a positive impact through cricket.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of cricket participation and community engagement programs.
- Assist with event coordination, activations, and on-ground experiences.
- Create and share content to promote programs, events, and participation opportunities.
- Provide administrative support to the Women & Girls and Community Engagement teams.
- Assist with stakeholder communications, registrations,
and program administration.
- Undertake other general duties as required.
What We’re Looking For We're looking for someone who is passionate about sport and community participation, with solid communication and organisational skills. You will be confident using basic computer systems, able to manage your workload and study commitments, and enjoy working with a diverse range of people. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is adaptable, eager to learn, and committed to supporting the growth of cricket and creating positive experiences for participants.
Previous involvement in sport, a driver's licence, and knowledge of the cricket landscape would be highly regarded.
