Company Description Active Allied Health Australia provides a broad range of community-based allied health and nursing services, including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Positive Behaviour Support, Myotherapy, Remedial Massage, Lymphatic Massage, and Nursing. The organisation focuses on delivering person-centred care in home and community settings, supporting clients to maintain independence, manage health conditions, and improve quality of life. Services are tailored to the needs and goals of individuals across diverse age groups and backgrounds.

Team members collaborate across disciplines to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care for clients throughout Australia.

Role Description The Community Based Physiotherapist will provide remote, community-focused physiotherapy services to clients in their homes and local environments on a part-time basis. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments via telehealth and in-community visits, developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, and monitoring progress against functional goals. The role involves prescribing exercise programs, advising on mobility aids and equipment, and delivering education to clients, carers, and families on injury prevention, pain management, and safe movement.

The Physiotherapist will collaborate with other allied health and nursing professionals, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure care aligns with relevant standards, funding requirements, and organisational policies. This role requires proactive communication, time management,

and the ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive multidisciplinary team.
