About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join a professional accounting team in Mackay on a full-time basis .

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Prepare financial statements, tax returns and client reports.
n
- Assist with the administration and accounting requirements of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) .
n
- Support month-end and year-end accounting activities.
n
- Work alongside senior accountants to deliver accurate and timely client outcomes.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
n
- Develop technical knowledge across a range of accounting and taxation matters.
n
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders as required.

About You

n





The successful candidate will ideally have:

n

A degree in Accounting or a related discipline .

n

Experience with accounting software and cloud-based accounting systems.

n

Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.

n

Good written and verbal communication abilities.

n

A positive, qualified attitude and willingness to learn.

n

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
