Based in Campbelltown and St Marys, this role sits within our Get Back in the Game (GBIG) program and plays a key role in connecting young people with education, training and employment opportunities. You will build strong relationships across schools, community organisations, training providers and employers, helping young people overcome barriers and achieve meaningful outcomes.
Your role will include
Building community partnerships to generate referrals and opportunities.
Promotion of the GBIG program through outreach, events and engagement activities.
Supporting young people with career planning, work readiness and job search skills.
Develop education, training and employment pathways with local employers and providers.
Deliver mentoring and ongoing support to improve participant outcomes.
what we are looking for
Driven by a passion for helping young people succeed, you have experience building strong partnerships across community, education, and employment networks. You are a proactive self-starter who excels in an outreach setting, confidently connecting with diverse stakeholders and supporting young people to overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals.
You will bring
Passion, commitment and belief in young people.
Experience supporting disadvantaged young people into employment or training.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills across community and industry.
Experience delivering engagement, promotional or outreach activities.
Certificate IV in Community Services (or similar) and relevant experience.
