We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and detail-oriented Compliance Team Lead to oversee compliance operations, strengthen internal controls, and ensure the organization operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and industry standards. This role is ideal for professionals with strong regulatory knowledge, leadership capabilities, and experience managing compliance risks in a fast-paced business environment.

? Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the compliance team.

• Develop, implement, and maintain effective compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on business operations.

• Conduct compliance risk assessments and identify potential regulatory and operational risks.

• Review business processes and activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

• Oversee compliance monitoring, testing, reviews, and reporting activities.

• Investigate potential compliance breaches, incidents, and policy violations.

• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions to address identified compliance issues.

• Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, risk assessments, and management updates.

• Provide guidance and advice to business units regarding regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance examinations.

• Maintain accurate compliance records, documentation, and regulatory reporting materials.

• Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs for employees.

• Work closely with Legal, Risk, Internal Audit, Finance, Operations, and senior management teams.

• Establish compliance KPIs and monitor the effectiveness of compliance programs.

• Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes, controls, and operational efficiency.





• Lead and mentor compliance team members while supporting their professional development.

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, internal audit, financial services, or a regulated industry.

• Previous experience leading or supervising a compliance team is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, internal controls, and risk management principles.

• Experience conducting compliance reviews, risk assessments, monitoring activities, and investigations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.

• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet regulatory and business deadlines.

• Strong ethical standards, professional integrity, and confidentiality.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks, AML/KYC requirements, data protection, or industry-specific regulations is an advantage.

• Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CCEP, CRCM, or equivalent are an advantage.
