About Us

We are a growing IT repair company specializing in laptop repairs, data recovery, and onsite IT support services across Australia. We are looking for an experienced Computer Repair Technician with strong hands-on skills in laptop hardware repairs, particularly screen replacements and component-level troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Laptop Screen Repairs

- Diagnose and replace damaged laptop LCD, LED, OLED, Mini-LED, and touchscreen displays.
- Replace complete display assemblies, digitizers, hinges, bezels, and back covers.
- Identify compatible screen part numbers and alternatives.
- Test display functionality, brightness control, touch functionality, and refresh rates after repair.

Laptop Hardware Repairs

- Replace batteries, keyboards, palm rests, trackpads, fans, speakers, DC jacks, and charging ports.
- Perform laptop disassembly and reassembly across major brands.
- Replace Wi-Fi cards, SSDs, RAM, and other internal components.
- Diagnose power issues, charging faults, overheating, and hardware failures.

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

- Diagnose physical damage resulting from drops, liquid spills, and impact damage.
- Assess motherboard-related issues and determine whether board repair is required.
- Run hardware diagnostics and stress testing after repairs.
- Document findings and repair recommendations.

Customer & Workshop Duties

- Maintain accurate repair notes and job records.
- Provide repair estimates and technical assessments.




- Ensure quality control before devices are returned to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized repair workspace.

Should have Experience in repairing:

- Apple MacBook Air and MacBook Pro
- Dell Latitude, Inspiron, XPS
- HP ProBook, EliteBook, Pavilion, Spectre
- Lenovo ThinkPad, IdeaPad, Yoga
- Acer Aspire, Swift, Nitro
- ASUS ZenBook, VivoBook, ROG
- Microsoft Surface devices
- Samsung, Toshiba and other major brands

Essential Skills

- Minimum 2 years experience in laptop hardware repairs.
- Robust experience replacing laptop screens.
- Ability to identify screen part numbers and compatibility.
- Experience working with OLED and touchscreen displays.
- Confident using ESD-safe repair procedures.
- Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Highly Desirable

- Experience with MacBook screen replacements.
- Experience with Microsoft Surface repairs.
- Experience with motherboard diagnostics.
- Microsoldering experience.
- Data recovery experience.
- IT support or MSP experience.

Tools & Equipment Experience

- Precision repair toolkits
- Multimeters
- Thermal cameras (desirable)
- Microscope (desirable)
- ESD-safe workstation practices
- Diagnostic software and testing tools

What Success Looks Like

- High first-time repair success rate.
- Ability to complete most screen replacements within manufacturer-standard repair times.
- Accurate diagnosis of hardware faults.
- Consistent quality control with minimal return repairs.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
