Construction Project Manager

MostynCopper is a construction Project Management and Development Advisory business working in the construction industry.

With a growing national presence, the team is currently looking for a Construction Project Manager with experience in construction in the Health Sector, particularly demonstrated familiarity of and experience working with the standard GC21 Contract.

The successful candidate will have:

· A minimum of 3 years of Construction Project Management experience,

· minimum of 1-2 years of construction/architecture experience specifically within the Healthcare Sector,

· a solid understanding of the phases of the construction project life cycle,

· proficiency in Microsoft Project and other similar project management tools and applications.

· Experience in managing and reporting project budgets, programmes and risks

· Robust stakeholder management and negotiation skills

Demonstrable experience working with the NSW State Government GC21 Contract is essential for this position.

The role,



working on construction projects in the health sector, will manage:

· Project programme and allocated resources across all phases of the project life cycle

· project budget, risks and variation development and negotiation, escalating, when necessary,

· development and distribution of all key project meeting minutes in a timely manner,

· project governance according to Client requirements eg GC21

· manage project consultants such as architect, engineer, QS and similar according to agreed deliverables,

· manage all stages of the Head Contractor Tender process, and

· manage all authority approvals as necessary.

Ideally with relevant qualifications in Project Management, Architecture or Engineering, the successful candidate must be prepared to travel to project sites which might entail overnight stays.
