Our client is a Melbourne-based commercial law firm providing practical, commercially focused legal advice across a range of practice areas, including real estate, commercial law and corporate advisory.

About the role:

Take ownership of a varied conveyancing portfolio, managing matters from initial instruction through to settlement. Your work will include:

- Managing residential and commercial purchases, sales and transfers.
- Preparing and reviewing contracts of sale and Section 32 vendor statements.
- Conducting title, planning, land tax, council and water authority searches.
- Managing PEXA settlements, adjustments and associated documentation.
- Liaising directly with clients, agents, banks, brokers and other solicitors.
- Assisting with off-the-plan purchases and sales.
- Supporting property development, subdivision and consolidation matters.
- Assisting with property-related due diligence for acquisitions and investments.
- Liaising with the State Revenue Office regarding stamp duty, exemptions and concessions.

The ideal candidate:

- At least 3 years’ experience working in residential and/or commercial conveyancing in Victoria.




- Strong experience using PEXA and managing electronic settlements.
- A sound understanding of Victorian property legislation and conveyancing requirements.
- The ability to independently manage a busy caseload while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
