Position: Full-Time / Part-Time/ Casual Cook

About the Role

Gradi Crown is looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our fast-paced Italian restaurant team. Working alongside our chefs and kitchen team, you will assist in preparing and delivering high-quality Italian dishes while maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a busy service environment, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items to Gradi standards and recipes.
- Assist with food preparation and daily mise en place.
- Ensure food is presented consistently and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and Crown compliance requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation and storage.
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner services.
- Support the kitchen team in achieving smooth daily operations.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as required.





Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Cook in a busy restaurant environment is essential.
- Experience preparing Italian cuisine is highly regarded.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Pay: $27.00 – $34.00 per hour
