We're looking for an experienced QA Manager to join our site leadership team and play a critical role in driving food safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operation.

n

This is more than a traditional quality role. You'll be a key business partner to operations, building capability across the site, influencing leaders, and creating a strong culture of accountability, compliance, and quality thinking.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Lead and champion site quality, food safety, and compliance programs.
n
- Build quality capability within the Site Leadership Team and frontline workforce.
n
- Drive implementation and continuous improvement of the Goodman Fielder Quality Management System (QMS).
n
- Partner with operational leaders to proactively identify risks and implement sustainable solutions.
n
- Lead customer, regulatory, and third-party audits, ensuring successful outcomes.
n
- Oversee HACCP, internal audit, complaint management, corrective actions, pest management, cleaning and hygiene programs.
n
- Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics to drive improvements and reduce risk.
n
- Support new product introductions and site change programs to ensure food safety and quality requirements are met.
n
- Facilitate Management Review and HACCP meetings, ensuring actions are completed effectively.
n
- Develop and execute site quality plans aligned with regional and national quality strategies.
n




- Foster a strong "Never Walk By" culture where quality ownership is embedded across the site.

About You

n

We're looking for an influential people leader who combines strong technical expertise with a practical, hands-on approach.

n

You Will Bring

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline.
n
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a Quality Leadership role within FMCG manufacturing.
n
- Robust knowledge of food safety, HACCP, quality systems, regulatory and customer requirements.
n
- Experience managing customer, consumer, regulatory and quality-related incidents.
n
- Proven success developing, implementing and improving Quality Management Systems.
n
- External and internal auditing experience.
n
- Strong problem-solving, risk assessment and root-cause analysis capabilities.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
n
- Strong project and change management capability.
n
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and delivering results.
n
