Cook – Full time

Location: 12 Doney Street, Narrogin WA 6312

Salary - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation

38-hours week

Key Responsibilities:

The successful Cook will be responsible for:

- Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with established recipes and menu requirements.
- Preparing ingredients including vegetables, sauces, meats and other food items for service.
- Ensuring meals are prepared consistently and within required service times.
- Checking the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
- Following portion control and food preparation procedures.
- Assisting the Chef with preparation of menu items and daily specials.
- Assisting with stock rotation and monitoring kitchen supplies.
- Properly storing food and ingredients in accordance with food safety requirements.
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
- Minimising food wastage.




- Assisting with general kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have

- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.
- Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
