Cook – Waterline Boathouse

Join our busy waterfront kitchen! Waterline Boathouse is looking for a reliable, hardworking Cook to join our established kitchen team in Forster.

We are not looking for a Head Chef or someone wanting to redesign our menu. We have a well-established menu and kitchen operation, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in consistently preparing quality meals, working efficiently, and being a dependable member of the team.

About the Role

As a Cook, you'll be responsible for:

- Preparing and cooking meals to our established recipes and standards
- Maintaining consistency and quality during busy service periods
- Assisting with food preparation and stock rotation
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and effective
- Working closely with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service
- Assisting with opening and closing kitchen duties

- Organised and able to follow established systems




- Proud of producing consistently high-quality food
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Available to work weekends, every day during school holidays, and most public holidays (excluding Christmas Day) – this is an essential requirement.

Experience

Previous experience as a cook in a café, restaurant or similar commercial kitchen is preferred. A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is an advantage but not essential.
