Barber Girl is seeking a talented Creative Barber and Colour Specialist to join our team in Bulimba, QLD. What you'll be doing

- Delivering high-quality barber services including precision cuts, fades, shaves and beard grooming to a diverse range of clients
- Creating and executing bespoke colour treatments and techniques, staying current with the latest trends and industry innovations
- Providing expert consultations to understand client needs, preferences and desired outcomes
- Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene, sanitation and salon professionalism at all times
- Building and nurturing strong client relationships to ensure loyalty and repeat business
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting fellow stylists and barbers
- Staying up-to-date with emerging techniques, products and industry developments through continuous professional development
- Managing client bookings and maintaining accurate records
- Promoting salon services and special offers to enhance the client experience

What we're looking for

- Proven expertise and experience as a creative barber with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating technical skill and artistic flair
- Specialist knowledge and hands-on experience in colour treatments, including balayage, highlights, tints, colour correction and contemporary colour techniques
- Current relevant qualifications or certifications in barbering and colour specialist services
- A thorough understanding of hair types, scalp conditions and appropriate product recommendations




- Excellent communication and consultation skills with the ability to translate client vision into reality
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results
- Professional approach to health and safety standards, including knowledge of salon hygiene protocols
- Ability to work efficiently, manage time effectively and handle a busy client schedule
- A genuine passion for creativity, style and the beauty industry
- Preferred experience working in a similar salon environment and a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and skill development
