The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated Credit Officer to join a well-established national organisation. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative credit team, you will be responsible for managing a customer ledger, conducting collections activity and building robust relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their credit and collections career within a stable business that offers long-term growth and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and outstanding debtors
- Conducting collections activity across overdue accounts
- Following up outstanding payments and maintaining payment arrangements
- Processing customer payments and account reconciliations
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Responding to account queries and resolving issues promptly
- Assisting with sales order releases and credit administration




- Maintaining accurate customer records and collection notes

About You

- Previous experience within Credit, Collections, Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role
- Must have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Professional and customer-focused approach - background in customer service is highly regarded!
- Ability to manage difficult conversations when required
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using multiple systems and databases
- Intermediate Excel skills highly regarded
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
