Raytheon Australia has a unique prospect for an experienced contracts, commercial or legal practitioner to support a cutting-edge technology with our Maritime Sustainment program.

You'll move beyond traditional silos into a commercially focused, embedded role, partnering with engineers, program leaders and government stakeholders.

n

Key aspects include:

Advising on commercial strategy and contract risk across major Defence programs

n

Drafting and negotiating complex, high-value agreements

n

Translating legal frameworks into practical, business-focused solutions

n

Supporting bids and proposals for next-generation technology programs

n

Acting as a trusted advisor across the full program lifecycle

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Commercial advice and the development of commercial solutions to achieve stakeholder objectives within a compliance framework.

n

Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements, working with key stakeholders to ensure that all requirements and risks are addressed.

n

Contribute to bid and proposal activities, as required,



including the preparation of commercial elements of bids and proposals and participation in management reviews.

n

Provide interpretation and advice on customer procurement policy and regulations, company policy, and contract requirements (including terms and conditions), to stakeholders to inform decision-making.

n

Serve as a point of contact for customer and supplier interfaces with the company during all phases of contract performance and the program life-cycle.

n

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

n

A Degree in Business, Commerce orLaw, with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a similar role.

n

Trained in commercial, projects, procurement, or technology contracts.

n

Interested in moving closer to the business and decision-making

n

Curious about technology, defence, or complex systems

n

Commercially minded, with the confidence to engage directly with stakeholders
