About the role

We are looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing online furniture business. You will be responsible for supporting customers throughout their entire order journey — from placing an order through to production, shipping, warehouse arrival and delivery. You will be the main point of contact for customers and will ensure they receive clear, professional and timely communication.

This role would suit someone who enjoys helping people, is confident communicating with customers and can stay organised while managing multiple enquiries and tasks.

Key responsibilities

- Respond to customer enquiries by email, phone and online platforms.
- Provide customers with accurate and timely updates on their orders.
- Assist customers with product, order, delivery and general enquiries.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and work towards positive outcomes.
- Follow up with customers when further information is required.
- Monitor customer orders from purchase through to delivery.




- Check order information and ensure customer details are accurate.
- Provide updates regarding production and expected arrival dates.
- Liaise with the warehouse and logistics team regarding customer deliveries.
- Assist customers with warranty enquiries and claims.

About you

- Previous customer service experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customers and tasks at the same time.
- Confident using computers, email and customer management systems.
- Professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult customers.
- Strong follow-up skills.
- Desirable: Experience working in an online retail, furniture, homewares or e-commerce business.
