Role Description This part-time Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.

The Data

Analyst will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various internal and client-facing systems. Daily tasks include performing basic data analysis, generating reports and dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making for product and operations teams. The role involves working closely with senior analysts and developers to interpret results, document findings, and improve data quality and processes. The individual will also help maintain datasets, validate metrics, and communicate insights in a clear, structured manner.

Qualifications

- Robust Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities to interpret datasets and identify trends.
- Basic understanding of Statistics to support hypothesis testing, performance measurement, and data validation.




- Experience or coursework in Data Modeling to organize, structure, and relate data for reporting and analysis.
- Effective Communication skills to present findings, prepare reports, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and introductory knowledge of SQL or similar query languages.
- Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) is preferred but not required.
- Relevant tertiary study or qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (completed or in progress).
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Melbourne, VIC, manage time effectively, and learn from feedback in a fast-paced setting.
