The Chance

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced commercial lawyer to step into an established practice generating approximately $1m in annual fees and take genuine ownership of its future.

Our client is a growing Brisbane law firm with an existing commercial practice, strong client relationships, established referral networks and quality workflow.

The Role

n

You'll work across a broad commercial practice including:

n

n
- Commercial contracts
n
- Business sales and acquisitions
n
- Shareholder and structuring advice
n
- Corporate advisory
n
- Procurement and leasing
n
- General commercial transactions and advisory work
n

n

Beyond the technical work, you'll take responsibility for the practice by:

n

n
- Leading and developing junior lawyers
n
- Managing key client relationships
n
- Building on existing referral networks
n
- Identifying opportunities across the firm's client base
n
- Helping shape the strategy and future growth of the practice
n

n

About You

n





This opportunity will ideally suit an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel with approximately 8+ years' PAE.

n

You will be:

n

n
- Technically strong across commercial advisory and transactional work
n
- Capable of managing matters autonomously
n
- Experienced in supervising and developing junior lawyers
n
- Commercially minded and confident with clients
n
- Interested in business development and growing existing relationships
n
- Ready for greater ownership and leadership responsibility
n

n

You do not need to bring a significant client following. More important is your ability and appetite to take an established practice and make it your own.
