We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher. This is a excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community and contribute to engaging learning experiences across Science and, ideally, Outdoor Education.
Science Teacher (Part-Time 0.8 FTE – 5/10/2026 – 27/11/2026, then 0.56 FTE from 30/11/2026-4/12/2026)
Geelong Lutheran College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team for Term 4, 2026. Ideally the successful candidate will also have experience or qualifications in Outdoor Education, although this is not essential.
This part-time opportunity is ideal for an educator who is committed to inspiring students and contributing to a collaborative and engaging learning environment.

- Science Teacher with experience or qualifications in Outdoor Education would be advantageous
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience or qualifications in Outdoor Education is desirable but not essential
